We are always in need of people looking to help out! Whether you’re looking to donate, direct runners, or help with registration, we need you!


To be a volunteer for the Turkey Trot is more than just helping runners find their way on the course. You can help in a number of ways to help build this community based event, and help your neighbors in the process. We’re always looking for people that want to help make the event a success! Whether you want to be right up front helping runners along the course, or more behind the scenes (like behind a camera!) we need a lot of people to make things run smoothly. If you own or work for a business that would like to help out, please check out our sponsorship packages.

How Can I Help?

There are a huge number of ways you can put your skills and interests into helping our event grow! If you would like to show up on race day and help runners get checked in, point them along the course, or help us clean up afterwards, we’d love to have you! We also need helpers to assist in the timing process, or take pictures of the event. So, if you’ll be around on Thanksgiving but don’t think you’re up for running, try volunteering!
